I've always been a sucker for all things romance. My husband and I joke with one another that my love language is all five of them because I can feel loved in so many different ways. Maybe some of you can relate, but I need some variety in my life. As silly as it sounds, taking photos with my husband kind of became a love language for me. My husband was active duty in the Army for a few years, so maybe it's because sometimes a photo was all I had, but taking photos together never got old to me.
I grew up looking at a gorgeous photo of my mom and dad on their wedding day in a big, gold frame. In the same room, my mom had a photo of my grandparents on their wedding day. These photos were a way for me to pretend I was a part of these special moments. One day, I hope to have my children see a photo of my husband Zach and me, a photo of my mom and dad, and a photo of my grandma and grandpa and know that they come from generations of love and passion.
It is my joy and honor to be able to photograph real romance that my brides and grooms can see and share with future generations.
